We expect a high standard of behaviour and good manners from our pupils, as we are sure you do, at home. Children are encouraged and guided towards positive self-discipline and respect.
Our school behaviour policy outlines the system of rules, rewards and sanctions we use and this works well. A booklet called ‘Behaviour Policy Explained’ is available at the School Office.
When behaviour issues arise this will be dealt with initially by school staff. Parents/carers will be kept fully informed.
At Wolsey House we recognise that we are all enriched by each other and by appreciating that our city is one rich in diversity and individual differences. We value the diversity and heritage of all our pupils and acknowledge different family structures and life choices. We will challenge attitudes and behaviours which lead to children being treated unfairly.
Firehorse Productions gave a perofmrance entitled "Sticks and Stones."
Sticks & Stones drew attention to the fact that bullying is not acceptable in the real world or in the virtual world. The production emphasized that whether you communicate with people face to face or online, you should always treat people with respect.
The production was interactive and the children participated enthusiastically.
