This half-term our PE lessons will take place on a Tuesday (basketball) and Friday (yoga). Please come to school wearing your PE kit on those days. 

READING

When children have finished a reading book, they can access Accelerated Reader to complete a quiz on the book at home.

Applying for a secondary school place

• The application period closes on 31st October 2025 for children starting in Autumn 2026.
• All applications must be submitted online through the Leicester City Council website.  You can list up to 4 schools on your application with the highest preference being considered first.
• The National Offer Day is March 2nd 2026.  On this day, you will receive an email with the school that your child has been allocated.

• Monday 11 May 2026: English grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS) – Paper 1 (questions) and Paper 2 (spelling). 
• Tuesday 12 May 2026: English reading – one reading paper. 
• Wednesday 13 May 2026: Mathematics – Paper 1 (arithmetic) and Paper 2 (reasoning). 
• Thursday 14 May 2026: Mathematics – Paper 3 (reasoning).
