Special intergenerational projects

Working with Beaumont Hall Residential Home

We have had special links with Beaumont Hall for many years. These links have strengthened and we are very lucky that Beaumont Hall fund a project which we value greatly and is close to our hearts. Our Reception children visit the residents every week to participate in an intergenerational project led by Emma Quinn from Boogie Beat. The intergenerational music and movement sessions improve the children's and residents' wellbeing, mobility and memory while establishing and developing relationships. Emma uses music, dance singing and stories during her sessions. The children and school staff love it.

Please look at the photos below - I think that they speak for themselves.

You can view more photos of the links we have with the residents in "Community Cohesion" which is in the "About Us" section of this website.

Another example of the work we have done with Beaumont Hall are reading sessions with older children. Please click on this link to find out more information.
