TIMES TABLES

To help prepare for the upcoming Government Multiplication Tables Check, it is vital that children practise their times tables. Regular practice will help build confidence and fluency in their multiplication skills.

Children can use Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) to support their learning. Their TTRS login details are stuck inside their homework book.

PE

Class 4 will have PE on Wednesday (outdoor football) and Thursday (indoor gymnastics). Please make sure your child comes to school in the correct PE uniform on these days.

READING

When children have finished a reading book, they can access Accelerated Reader to complete a quiz on the book at home.

HOMEWORK

Homework will be set every Friday. Children are welcome to hand in their homework book on any day during the following week once they have completed the tasks.

PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE

There is a strong link between being in school on time and academic success. When children arrive late, they often miss valuable parts of the morning routine — such as the morning task, which helps them settle in and get ready for a full day of learning.
