Computing

Teach Computing at Wolsey House Primary School
At Wolsey House, we follow the Teach Computing curriculum to ensure every child develops the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the digital world. The curriculum is carefully sequenced so that children build on their learning each year, covering key areas such as coding, data, systems, and digital creativity. Lessons are practical, engaging, and designed to help pupils not only use technology confidently but also to understand how it works. Our aim is for children to become responsible, competent, and creative users of technology.

Online Safety with Project Evolve
Keeping children safe online is a priority at Wolsey House. We use Project Evolve, a programme based on the latest research from the UK Council for Internet Safety, to teach online safety in an age-appropriate way. It supports children to think critically, make safe choices, and develop the right digital behaviours. Topics such as privacy, online relationships, digital footprints, and managing online information are taught throughout the school. This ensures pupils are well-prepared to navigate the online world safely and responsibly, both now and in the future.
